The core SoftBooking system did everything a tanning salon would need and more - but we went one step further after working with an owner of a tanning salon. As standard the diaries time scale was set at 15 minutes, now it can be set to a minute if required.

A tanning card to each Client has been added into SoftBooking so you can store all the information you need. The tanning card consists of questions such as:

A - Hereditary tendency
 B - Your sunbathing experience
 C - You sunbathing habits

A total score is stored after the Client enters in the form an the information is inputted into SoftBooking - it does it all!

SoftBooking saw a hole in the market for a descent, affordable booking system for Tattooists who have issues with health and safety for not storing notes on clients or appointments. After spending hours on end with a tattooist at his shop, we figured out what was missing from SoftBooking and implemented the necessary changes accordingly.

First of all, the majority of Tattooists charge by the hour therefore when a Client is booked in, the Tattoo service value needs to be calculated by the hour. SoftBooking was modified to add such a service so when the appointment time is changed, the value is automatically calculated.

Deposits were also required in the tattoo industry as people tend to book themselves in for a tattoo and cancelling at the last minute. For this reason we not only added the deposit feature, but we also calculate the deposit to the length of the tattoo.

For example, a Tattooist could charge £50/hour for the tattoo work and £20/hour for the deposit. SoftBooking seamlessly works these figures out to save the hassle for the operator.
