C.A. started
business in 1983 with Neil
Charrington as the Senior Partner. Neil was previously
Managing Director of M’Aidez Management Consultants Limited and C.A.
Systems Limited. He has been developing software for 8 years at
that time.
We are committed to providing the best products and services, the
team has been working since 1989 to develop the products and to
increase the customer base to where it is today.
C.A. markets
our own software called Magician, which is a “large” package that
includes Sales, Purchase, Nominal Ledgers, Stock and Production
Control and Payroll; fully integrated multi-company, multi-currency,
multi-user system designed to be tailored for the individual
business. This was sold to major businesses such as Photo-Me
International PLC, the Lowe & Fletcher group, Euro-Locks (Germany).
We installed our software at the HM Customs & Excise in Bootle.
Magician is also being used by companies such as General
Fabrications Limited, CSJ Steel Stockholders amongst many others.
C.A. Software has VAR agreements with both

and
jBASE
and can provide independent advice and cooperation for both
platforms. Our staff have over 40 years of combined experience in
the multi-value industry.
At C.A. Software we build long term relationships based on quality
and integrity. With installations including both networked and
multi-user systems for small businesses to large multinational
groups. Each system we install is based on a well-tried and tested
standard core product, which is tailored to meet our customers'
specific requirements and give them the business control they need.
In a quickly changing industry such as ours, we continually review
and encourage training for both our staff and customers. Training
courses for C.A. Software and related software packages are
regularly run to ensure our customers gain the maximum benefit from
their system investment. We offer comprehensive support from our
main support desk in Central England.

the most suitable configurations for your needs and your budget. We
give the advice and information you need to make an informed choice
on your system investment.
Neil
designed and developed the complete Magician package.
Magician is
not aimed at any vertical market and the range of business users
includes Steel Stockholders, Cash & Carry Warehouses, Manufacturing,
Premises Guarding and Photo and Games Booths amongst others. During
the early years we secured Partner status with IBM, SCO-Unix, Pick
and jBASE.
In 1998
Matthew Charrington
joined the business on a formal basis to provide the expertise that
had been lacking to move the products into the mainstream of
Microsoft Windows platforms. This enabled C.A. to earn Partner
status with Microsoft.
In 1999 C.A.
made its in-house development tools (4GL) into a general developer’s
product with the view to adding it to our portfolio. |
