Installing OSMOSiS Modules

There are up to five executable's depending on the modules you are provided with. Before each executable is run the user has to double click the license xxxxxxxx.reg file.

The executable's are :-

Setup_OSMOSiS.exe   Configure, Developer and Server/Simple-Client   Setup_PrintMan.exe   OSMOSiS Print Manager and a Client Configure   Setup_eFax.exe   OSMOSiS eFax Manager   Setup_MVDEMO.exe   SC Systems standard demo account   Setup_SampleGL.exe   A sample SB+ conversion account

The user will be sent the Urls and user logon and password in the email.

First one to execute is the OSMOSiS executable called Setup_OSMOSiS.exe. Click on the URL and enter the user id and password and start the download.

Click on Run and Set up will start downloading

When executing the Reg file, may get a Internet Explorer - Security Warning. Click on Run

Installation Wizard will guide you through the setup.

Welcome to the installation Wizard click next

Agreement to terms and conditions

Application setup screen – Options client, server, full or custom. Choose Full

Destination folder will default to C:\Program Files\SCSystems (it is possible to have any destination folder)

Selected program groups SCSystem

Ready to install the programs

Installation will start this will take a few minutes

Note

If you do not have a C:\Users directory. You will be prompted to create one. If you have a Users directory on another drive then select No.

Installation is Completed
