Description  
 
This is a group of files and under each file is a list of sub forms. It could be best described as a filing cabinet where the drawers are the files (such as Clients, Vendors, Products etc) and the related forms (such as Client Bills, Orders, History, Prices etc) are the folders.  
 
The cabinet enquiry setup is parameterised within the developer, thus giving us a very quick and powerful window into the database especially good for telesales.  
 
Once created, the focus will be on the key field and part of the key can be entered. The searching routine will go through the first file and search through all of the cross references, if not found it will continue through just the keys of all the other associated files making the searching very quick and extremely robust.

The picture below shows the Main Enquiry Facility within M2. Within this window, the user can jump between the Customer File, Product File, Master B.O.M's, Standing Orders etc. Looking at the record ABCB01, the first tab has been selected which is the Main screen to the Customer File.

Once the data has been loading into the grid locally, there is no more communication with the Server therefore all of the grouping, sorting and filtering is made alot quicker. Shown below is the grid data grouped and sorted.

The filtering option is available on a right mouse click on the grid, followed by 'View' then tick the Filter option. By doing this, down arrows appear on the right of each column header. Click on the down arrow and a list of items available will be displayed underneath the selected column.
